The untimely death of James Love — warm and loyal friend, generous colleague, lover of all things theatrical (and Donna Summer) — inspired the creation of a dedicated Scholarship at New York’s celebrated New School for Drama: a three-year intensive program dedicated to training actors, directors, and playwrights for a professional career in the theater.

This new Scholarship will provide significant annual subsidy to deserving members of the current program, who will be designated Love Scholars.
